Royale 120 Motel One
State-of-the-art comfort
State-of-the-art comfort
Royale 120 / Motel One, in the centre of Brussels, is the first tailor-made Motel One outside Germany. With 490 rooms, it is the largest hotel (by number of rooms) inside the Brussels city centre pentagon. The project also includes a public car park and a 200 m² of retail space on the ground floor, occupied by the Ici Paris XL cosmetics shop.
Concept and architecture
The project was designed by ARCHi2000 in collaboration with Motel One's architectural teams to meet strict specifications. The 8 storeys, built on the foundations of the old building, are arranged around a 35 m wide garden and feature high-performance rooms and a pleasant two-level lobby. The façade, in stone and white architectural concrete, creates a striking play of shadows. The project also includes an underground public car park.
