Concept and Architecture
Located directly on the beach and dunes, BESIX RED, Chase RED and architects Van Egmond, Duinhil offer a 49,048 m² mixed-use development including 145 high-end apartments, a wellness hotel with 160 rooms, a restaurant and a fitness with spa. The ecologically friendly design of Duinhil is inspired by the rolling lines of the surrounding nature in which the sea and the dune, which extends to the façade, claim a leading role. In the apartements, the connection with nature is omnipresent through the use of large glass facades, large balconies and spacious terraces. The use of maintenance-friendly materials, the variation in textures and materials, the enrichment with traditional details and the use of a natural colour scheme allow Duinhil to integrate organically into the environment.

Location and accessibility
Duinhil, located on the beach of Kijkduin and the sea, is right next to the pristine dune landscape of the protected nature reserve Westduin Park. Kijkduin is characterised by its charming character and small scale. Peace, space and the cosy atmosphere are characteristic of this seaside resort, where yet every season plenty of sports and leisure activities take place, bringing with them a pleasant liveliness. The city of The Hague itself is also quickly accessible by car, bicycle and public transport.
