The bright future of a historic building
The bright future of a historic building
If architectural excellence matters so much to us, it's because we believe it has the power to enhance both collective and individual wellbeing. Our commitment is highlighted in an 11-storey office project at the forefront of modernity. Lighthouse transforms an obsolete historic building into a workspace meeting the highest standards of environmental sustainability and employee wellbeing.
Concept and architecture
The original 1962 building was designed by architects Jean and André Polak, who also created the Atomium for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair, an iconic symbol of Brussels. The remarkable facade will be preserved, and the architects of B2Ai plan to crown it with a glass dome that will illuminate during the night, symbolizing a bold project designed for future generations. This dome will house an informal meeting space offering stunning panoramic views of the city. With volume extensions, the building will feature numerous offices bathed in natural light for both physical and visual comfort.
