Canal District
Reconnecting with the city centre
Reconnecting with the city centre
Our mission is to design living spaces that bring people together and promote interaction and wellbeing. Located at the intersection of two areas of Brussels, combining architectural styles and encouraging social and generational diversity through its variety of housing, Canal District perfectly embodies our vision. This new micro-neighbourhood of 185 apartments and 20 houses, built around a shared interior garden, ensures serenity and wellbeing while revitalising a former industrial site.
Concept and architecture
Canal District's concept of diversity is reflected in its architecture. Designed by AXENT Architects and Architectassoc+, it is a refined and harmonious blend of two different styles. Vast semi-private gardens in the project's inner courtyard, visible from the apartment terraces, add a lasting touch of greenery and create a peaceful atmosphere.
